Okay, I'll give the girl credit for exhibiting a principle instead of self interest.

Yeah, Gaines is certainly in the Rowling feminism camp. Hopefully that doesn't spread to the kids.
And I won't discredit your assumption too much. It's an age thing. Middle and some high school kids can be quite bold at times before social pressures ultimately set their personal limitations.
I'm happily glad to be wrong about it. I've seen this play out before and assumed it would here. I hope the girl is able to stand by her principles.
There is no argument, title IX is oppressive by its very nature. “Separate but lesser” is not a good argument.
Until the west can accept that men and women really are different and cope with it, we will still default to the faulty status quo.
