Forget localisation, if that's true it would be a terrible translation regardless of wokeness. It's not English.

Full agree. It's just sticking in slang code words to signal to fellow ideologues.

Tangentially, /pol/ seems to have appropriated 'chud' as a self-descriptor of pride nowadays, like blacks with 'nigger'. But that doesn't make it any less of a hyper-specific piece of factional net slang.

From the streamer I've watched playing, In my opinion the English localization (and that unfortunately includes the text when you have Japanese VA) is a disaster, 50% of the time the dialogue spoken by the Japanese VA, doesn't match the text or their Japanese personality in the least. I don't know if it counts as identity politics, but I already saw a "did you assume its gender" "joke".
