I came, I laughed, I cried and then remembered that Chandler is dead now and that means that Monica is back on the market.
But, like many of the other women in my life, she's fictional and is only a dream away.
All in all that was funny. I'm not a big fan of Jew bashing for the sake of it but that was actual comedy and weirdly in the style of a friends script.
Well Schwimmer came out in 2020 proclaiming his white privilege, and how all his fellow whites should be on board for social justice.
Then a few years later he shapeshifted into a jew and not white. He signed a petition to recognize and protect the "marginalized" jewish people in Hollywood, and said white people should step aside.
I don't know how any of it works but I've met white Jews, black Jews and Asian Jews and so, as a people, it sounds like a religion more than a 'race' to me.
And if we are going to craft some sort of homologous relationship for communities such as that, then are all whites/blacks/Asians the same as each other?
Are all Jews the same?
And once that rabbit hole starts being gone down we're back to square one with people introducing themselves to others with a whole bunch of categorisation labels that only the knowledgeable of those from within their own communities could differentiate and we're all as ignorant as we ever were - and then there'll be another faction of a group which comes out with their own particular rules and ways to address them and so on and so forth for those silly enough to try and keep up.

I'm in 100% agreement with you. I'm just saddened that it appears that (most) everybody but (most) white people seem to prefer the arrangement where your race is the most important thing about you.

Yes white people who have a negative in-group bias are the ones obsessed with their group identity
