Yes but no. If we have a dangerous censorious communist society, the id of 4chan and anonymous posting is one of the few weapons against the regime. Harsh truths that involve banning, debanking, censorship, with the powers of the printing press in the hands of the regime, manipulating womenfolk who were ever the most censorious of the regime
If we are no longer an openly moral society, not sure how 4chan isn't helpful in creating or finding wherever we go from here.

The problem was imageboards. A blessing and a curse because memes are so powerful, but removing the ability to post pictures/imglinks would take a huge weapon (CP) away from the people who keep trying to shut it down.
