This is where a lot of bitterness wells up from. Countless men taught by their society to walk a path, promised that it would lead to happiness and fulfillment only to find their hearts and their lives laying in ruins at the end of the path. Everyone who should have been guiding them to success was instead guiding them towards self destruction. And at the end of it all, these poor fools get blamed for doing as they were taught, as if society bears no responsibility for their demise.
It's enough to make a man want to see the world burn.
