I didn't notice it really get more woke, though I did notice them erasing Fallout lore more so might have been focused elsewhere.
Apparently on of the Bethesda workers is on Twitter saying New Vegas is still cannon so looks like they realised they opened a Pandora's box
You will. No point starting when we know how it ends.
The problem you may encounter is that I think the woke argument is going to fly past a lot of the viewers on this as it's not so obvious compared to show Halo or Suicide Squad game
The ones not knowing anything about fallout will either like it or not based on the setting and writing (which is really hit or miss as only two characters are done well)
The actual fans if the Fallout franchise, are more focused on the possible lore erasure that they won't care about the woke stuff as much as Bethesda erasing their favourite lore so in this instance, the woke stuff is really the moon behind the Jupiter.
The show explicitly, 100% inarguably made New Vegas non-canon, but a producer saying "nuh uh it is canon actually" is enough for media literacy people.
I'm not saying that it justifies it, only that even BETHESDA knows they fucked up, which is quicker than Disney as it only took 1 show compared to Disney’s 3 films before they realised they fucked up.
To me the later episodes had a very anti-capitialism slant and the lack of China was the apparent woke things.
Or they're just doing damage control. They realize they went in too hot, so now they're dialing back. They're going to boil the frog properly now, erasing New Vegas from the canon more gradually. That, or they'll use more canon-friendly ways to render it completely pointless to the timeline. Like saying the Tunnelers went in and killed everyone in the Mojave or something.
