Wtf is the one on the left? How does those metal spring thingy even hold her weight? Why even make her disabled AND OBESE???
How funny would it be to have a cast of all straight white men plus exactly one token character who is forced to absorb all of the diversity. Black obese disabled blind deaf trans Muslim neurodivergent lesbian with those white skin patches and no hair. Two spirit. And furry. Just that utter blackhole of diversity plus three Backstreet Boys
That'd be an interesting game. For kicks they could Hellen Keller that character and she groans random sounds throughout the entire game.
"Could this be.... The lost tomb of Emperor N'Gavati?!"
"Aarrruugunalfruuuunnaaawwdi"
"Good catch, Aisha"
Random trivia, in the novel Welcome the the NHK the two main characters spend a lot of their time making a game with that exact type of MC. Though its trying to create the most perfect moe waifu instead of diversity it still ends up like a crippled blind haunted gaunt brain-damage reincarnated childhood friend cancer-patient maid in a wheelchair.
The manga has an illustration of it and even they realize how ridiculous it is once they look at their abomination.
Mr. Burns: "So what you're saying is that I'm perfectly diverse?"
Doctor: "Oh no no, in fact even the slightest criticism could-"
Mr. Burns: "Perfectly diverse~"
She lost her toes, then feet, then lower legs to diabetes, duh.
AND pink hair. That thing is a self-insert by the writers.
They make carbon fiber "racing legs" that look more or less like that. The evidence is that they're actually more efficient at sprinting than normal calves and feet. I feel like the upper 3/4s of those pictures are different in some way, but I can't put my finger on it.
Probably not good for spelunking though
OMG I didn't even see the feet.
She couldn't see her feet before, either. Even when she still had legs.
