Britain made a secret pact with Poland, that if war broke out, no matter who started it, that Britain would ally with Poland against Germany. It was all a ruse to start a war with Germany, since Britain didn't give a shit about Poland, since the "allies" declared war on Germany for invading Poland, but not Soviet Russia for doing the exact same thing and in the exact same month.
