For example, a game gets an update that censors a sexy female character. People complain to the devs and then a short time later, they roll back the update and restore the character to how she was before. Have there been any examples of devs actually listening to people's complaints and undoing woke shit?

I imagine the game and the company have to be pretty far gone for it to happen in the first place. So the people doing it don't care about a reaction.
Maybe the censorship of female outfits can get rolled back, since it's often the selling point, and pornography, not to mention lolis, has its own support within the left.
But in case of blacks, sodomy and trannies there wouldn't be too many people willing to voice their opinions, and those who are would be heavily suppressed.
That said, Ecumene backpedalled a bit with their upcoming game, although I wouldn't hold my breath for it.
Also Korean devs apologise and remove Megalia stuff (Nexon, Eternal Return, Limbus Company, Stellar Blade), but that's a different landscape.
