Hollywood stars Liam Neeson and Glenn Close have performed dramatic readings of the Trump indictments for an MSNBC podcast devoted to celebrating the ongoing political and legal persecution of the 45th president and presumed GOP nominee for the 2024 presid...
I think more people are watching grass grow than this, the celebrities people ACTUALLY care about are so low it's barely in double digits and most of them know to stay out of politics and remain an entertainer.
Here's a genuine prediction of mine you can take to the bank because just like with the recent rise of indie titles in the games industry precisely due to how woke the big studios are getting. We're going to see the same thing happening with film and you're going to see 14 - 30 year old autists in their mom's basement making blockbuster short films that are more entertaining than anything these washed up demented hacks can put out.
It's fucking sad because at the very least I could have looked up to Hollywood for the quality of their films despite everything. Now they have nothing, there's zero point to these retards. If these older actors had any sense they would encourage new blood to help them do 3D films and mocap which would work really well I think because then they wouldn't have to do dangerous stunts, but no, they've sold themselves out to propagandists and glowies who have it in for Trump and they know it.
I mean it about Blender too, because I've been experimenting with cycles a lot lately and I initially thought "Oh no I'll need to get a bloody supercomputer to run this" but actually getting cycles to render stuff speedily and in good quality is something of an art form itself and it can produce some really good animations even on a low end PC. Plus with the introduction of Eevee next the software is only going to get better than whatever outdated crap Hollywood poops out.
And then Sora is shown off to Hollywood.
I think a good movie would cost about $10,000 to make and 6 months to finish. It can be made by a single person.
Like a massive dipshit I just wiped out a very lengthy post going into a detailed breakdown of why it does not even necessarily as much as that to put out a project these days thanks to things like open source software and how much woke bloat there is. As is the case with tech companies they're clearly sitting on investor money and I think this is one of the reasons that projects take so 'long' to finish.
I think I can breakdown the scam a bit faster this time but basically how it seems to go is this. Devs/Film makers pretend it's going to take them 10 years to finish, so they get a big chunk of investor money. They pocket most of it and use the rest to hire unqualified woke retards to fake company growth the same way you have tech companies faking job applications they have zero intention of hiring for to make it seem like they're a growing company when really they have zero valuation.
Generally I think there's been an overestimation though in terms of how much funding these people get as investors clearly still expect some ROI on what they put in which is why the woke companies get so butthurt when people do some weaponised autism on their finances. I also think on their side there's a bit of underestimation in how much they could get away with because they didn't realise the normies would pick up on this which is why they're so mad about people researching sweet baby inc. The scam is very real though and they were doing something of a balancing act to maintain it so they barely had to do any work.
Don't let these scam artists fool you into thinking you need thousands or millions to put out a project with what we've got today, you just don't. I'm very convinced by the way this why Elder Scrolls and GTA are taking so long to 'develop' and I think the studios are completely full of shit about the time so they can scam as much money as possible on top of hoodwinking normies with their latest releases.
I'm not denying you that. I'm saying the equipment and programs needed is about $10,000, and the time it takes to create, render, and edit takes about 6 months. I'm sure the next project will take two, but that initial process always takes longer than expected.
Eh, thousands is cheap man. Alfredic's estimate is probably about what it would cost with as many free/open-source toolkits as possible.
