When you look at any self built communes like hutterites, they never progress beyond subsistence farming. And they are only able to reach and maintain that level by using equipment and processes that were developed and sold to them by capitalists.
If a group of commies were dropped into a fertile, deserted area with no contact to the outside, they would never progress beyond living in mud huts. They would be too preoccupied with power grabs and purging undesirables to do anything else. They are human parasites.
Your last statement was verified in the reality show where a bunch of men and women had to survive on their own separate primitive island dwellings. The men immediately began organizing and doing work while the women sunbathed and ate through their rations. When it was clear the women would not survive, the producers sent at least one of those women to the men's island. There they resumed sunbathing and the men had to work harder.

To be fair, a little purging of undesirables sounds pretty nice right about now. The only difference is the commies and I have very different opinions on who the undesirables are.
