We've seen how women react to their gamer boyfriends to the point of going insane and destroying their gaming PCs sometimes clearly worth thousands because it all gets posted online now. The lotus eaters did a segment recently about women breaking up with their guys and while I did not agree with their takes at all it did show that there are women out there who if their boyfriend does not keep them at the centre of their universe 100% of the time they're going to kick of a shitstorm about it.
So really the message to me was good luck having friends, hobbies and any kind of life if you want a girlfriend. Can't have both and date a mature woman that recognises sometimes she can't always get her way. It reeks of a bratty mindset where they think it's all got to be about them and I have no respect for that.
Imagine as well if you're a guy and you're a real professional or you're a business owner. You come home and that's what you've got to look forward to when you just want to have some peace and quiet after a stressful day. It is no wonder women who have that mindset are permanently single and a lot of them are definitely not attractive enough to put up with that shit.

Honestly this not true, there are "acceptable" hobbies. Building things or fishing, sports, working out or hunting (in some circles) are things that girls can brag about to their friends.
That's a fair point, it seems to be the same thing when it comes to professions and whether they're 'educated' or not. This is why university educated men are up on the list of desirables along with professions like doctor and I do know the maths on that. Even then though, that falls back to my point that this is bratty behaviour and she's making it all about her life and what makes her happy, what the man wants in the relationship be damned.
See this is why the right lost control of culture.
Dismissing something as a 'distracrion, a pointless hobby not allowing you to face reality' is why the left infected the industry so easily.
And NOW they expect to just come in like the original gamergate and be our 'enlightened saviours against leftist indoctrination'
Fuck off, you're both relics that should be discarded in to the past.

As a married guy, I can confirm this to be true. In fact is so acceptable that the same saying is in multiple cultures: "Happy wife, happy life"
