It's kind of why I appreciate the Shield Hero fanbase being normal in comparison. The tourists already hated it from the very beginning so the anime gatekept itself in a way. And the fact that it's getting a 4th season makes it extremely satisfying.
Yeah, the protagonist buying so many slaves makes for a good filter to keep normies away.
