It really is amazing how even vaunted skepticism goes out the window when it’s the “Hebrew bible.”
That's an odd way to refer to the Torah and/or Talmud or whatever its called.
Jews don't call it "the Hebrew bible"
The Hebrew Bible is basically the Old Testament including Kings, Chronicles, the minor prophets etc, the Torah is the first 5 books of the OT (Genesis, Exodus, Leviticus, Numbers, Deuteronomy), and the Talmud is a post-Christ book in which rabbis try to argue and lawyer with God about the OT, and Jesus is said to be burning in hell. Unsurprisingly, the Talmud is the central text of Judaism.
I remember the term "hebrew bible" being used excessively in some infomercial that used to air before cartoons when I was a kid.
