During my list making I stumbled on this article
It's about historical calorie intake and workouts. People were eating way more calories, and doing less, and still had a lower body weight. We are constantly being told to lower our calories, exercise, and fight the obesity epidemic. Nothing fits by the historical records. Every suggestion is wrong.
I knew something was weird when I was told by a lower rich class guy that the poor couldn't afford real food. He meant the super expensive but not as good food at those special grocery stores.
It appears that the way this is done is
-
Choose something no one knows that well.
-
Have an obvious fake news that is prompted by all media.
-
Make one side look stupid and lazy.
-
Promote the bad side as rebellions
-
Have tons of business to deal with the non existent problem both for and against
-
Change the word use if people start to catch on.
-
Promote laws stopping the Lazy Stupid people from being tricked by Evil. Said laws remove rights from everyone.
-
Have demonstrations and big promotions against said thing for people to make money to 'battle' the problem. This is all a scam of some kind.
-
The Lazy Stupid people are told they are special and beautiful. This niche is used for money laundering. No one is told it's not an actual problem.
I've seen this in obesity, Covid, videogames, global warming, hawks in England, sparrows in China, and several others. What others can you think of? Why is obesity promoted so hard, and what is the truth?
Since you pointed out obesity, there's the other end of it as well, it's all over the place and most of the time it's profiteering through the use of corpo psyops on the population but other times it can be something more insidious where intelligence agencies of various countries are involved for real. I do think it's important to make a distinction between the types of psyops there are out there.
Fitness youtubers are a rabbit hole I've gone down what with me being a guy that wanted to improve myself. To his credit Pewdiepie and Joe Rogan have been pretty open about it and seemed surprised people didn't know how frequent steroid use was in bodybuilders even amongst amateurs. The people you see promoting shit all over youtube and online? It's not just television, it's all fake and gay. That's why you have poor fuckers who take up these fitness challenges or whatever and get frustrated wondering why they're not getting "AMAZING RESULTS WITHIN 3 MONTHS!" among other things.
Even without the steroid use, sometimes arguably steroid abuse but they won't admit to it. A lot of these guys are relying heavily on supplements and protein powders etc. because their bodies simply can't keep up normally with the level of exercise they're putting themselves through and you can imagine the amount of damage that's going to be doing to them over the long term.
I respect the ones who are totally upfront about what they do, but this kind of fakery is one hell of a rabbit hole to go down. It's not just 'women' who get the psyops done on them when it comes to how they want their bodies to look. This is why I'm incredibly stubborn about trending pages and peer pressure. I know there are vested interests who quietly guide the mob to make you go into one direction or the other and I know there are a lot of people on this site at least that are fairly aware too and this extends even to simple lifestyle choices.
Most fitness Youtubers/Instagrammers are frauds.
But protein supplements aren't cheating, though. It's just a convenient way to up your protein intake, without having to eat vast amounts of food. It's also used in medical treatments to accelerate the repair of bedsores in the elderly or in other situations.
It's not cheating sure, it's just a piss take the way they try and present it sometimes which is why I respect the guys who are open about it. The steroid users can fuck off though with their fakery. I just don't know if shoving all that powder and supplements into your body over the long run is healthy.
The Dark Side of Steroids.
Fair warning - graphic imagery. If you're one to be squeamish at autopsy photos, don't watch.
Anyone who's interested in taking steroids should watch it, though. It'll kill the urge to do so completely.
