Just another example of progs passing down their mythology. Sexy armor has been out of the western mainstream longer than this badly proportioned faggot has been alive. He's never played a game with it, and definitely not in D&D. Those images are almost certainly, at best, from some Korean MTX-ridden whale farm, but more likely just resume padding he pulled from Artstation.
Aion only gets remembered because its basically the only time one of those brokethrough to the mainstream for a bit, so its dead horse will be beaten forever.
I think Lineage 1-2 did it first, and taught everyone to avoid Korean MMOs forever more. I dunno, maybe Lineage didn't have the reach I remembered wholst Aion actually hit it big.
I'll just forever remember it as the insulting consolation prize NCSoft gave out after killing Richard Garriot's last big boondoggle a few weeks post partum.
Aion was the first I remember hearing people talk about considerably. Probably helped by that being prime "WoW Killer" time for every MMO that came out.

That first one is from Aion, it was indeed a Korean MMO that has been functionally dead for even longer than his testicles.
