I wonder about this, sometimes. I've seen enough instances where men effectively 'rise to the challenge' of leading thier family and fatherhood that makes me question how such things should be managed, and if we coddle boys too much from potential failure, even in this.
...conversely, there's the economic part of this whole clusterfuck to consider, so I dunno.
(As an aside, one of the most based catholic takes I ever saw on the question of 'how do we get teenagers to wait for marriage to have sex' was 'get them married while they're teens in an arranged marriage so they can have sex, you idiot'.)

I think arranged marriages for sex would be superior to teenage sex without marriage tbh.
