My first reaction was to laugh at the protesters up bringing human rights and up dignity with regards to porn stars. The article focuses on "actresses". I doubt anyone ever cared how men were treated in the industry.
Second reaction was to
I didn't know they had such a party. NHK is a vector of liberal cancer so that's good to hear.
But my main takeaway from this story is I have no idea what we're meant to take away from it. Either I skipped over the important parts or the other commenters are reading what they want into it. Besides wait times (I guess so the whores can change their minds before people find out they were whores?), what does the law do? Who's asking for it? What was the motivation? Something or someone of influence inspired Japan's legislators to care about this now all of a sudden. Sankaku is lacking important context. I don't feel like a googlin today.
tl;dr men in porn are disposable just like IRL, women are opportunistic whiners
4chan has some great history and examples that cover this.
The men all get treated the same as real life; either a guy is "a somebody" where everyone literally wants to ride his dick - until it's not beneficial anymore of course, or "a nobody" who has to do almost anything to get work.
As fun as the former sounds that situation only lasts as long as until someone decides to throw out a rape accusation and suddenly it becomes fashionable and advantageous to all the other women involved to do the same. See James Deen, Heavenpov, Markus Dupree, Manuel Ferrara, Rocco Siffredi, and a lot of others.
The latter includes what could be considered formerly "big names" in porn like Sean Michaels who made his name in the 90s/00s in interracial porn but now has to "make a living" fucking delusional men in the trans category 😂
As for the other side of the coin you have pathelogical liars such as Lana Rhodes, Jessie Rogers, Amber Rayne, Nova Flame, Raven Leigh, and whoever else others might remember. All of which came out at some point claiming abuse in the porn industry despite various issues making their stories seem highly unlikely.
Lana Rhodes did porn for years and only made claims after she quit, she now gives podcasts about things nobody gives a shit about because she's only "famous" for doing porn, same as with Mila Khalifa.
Jessie Rogers did porn, quit, whined about it, then went back to doing porn! But has hit the wall hard so very few people want to see her now.
Amber Rayne is one of the girls who made claims about James Deen, she then died shortly after due to drugs. So maybe she knew she was dying and wanted a final payout that would go to someone else, or maybe it plays into the whole Jewish conspiracy since Deen is Jewish, and maybe the drug death was the same kind of speedball that killed King George the Fifth.
Nova Flame is one of the girls who made claims again Heavenpov despite the abuse in question being one of the scenes released AND after various text messages and attempts at hookups post scene that were provided when said claims came out. This then happened with a few other girls who also had their alleged abuse released as content and Heavenpov's guy ended up getting canceled, forced off Twitter, and his gf who is also a pornstar also received threats. The cherry on the top is that many of the girls who made these claims not only still work in porn, but often work together so coming up with a joint story would be extremely fucking easy for them, AND many of them still sell content with him so despite claims of abuse are perfectly content to still make money off him.
Raven Leigh made claims against a black pornstar and then got BTFO'd by the porn industry hard along with her pornstar "lesbian" wife when the nanny cam footage came out that showed she was lying her ass off. She still tried to claim victim status after.
So even with evidence saying otherwise, even with past behaviour showing how much women in porn will cry "wolf", the men involved still get no benefit of the doubt, still end up interacting with these women after such scandals, and often then wonder "how could this happen to me" when the same scorpions inevitably sting them because some men are simply fucking retarded when warned about how toxic some women are.
Edit: Meant to include Mila Khalifa's name in the bit about Lana Rhodes as Mila is another "podcaster" nobody gives a fuck about unless fucks are being given, plus she's had some fairly "public" freakouts when introduced or referred to as a pornstar or ex-pornstar despite nobody else having any idea who the fuck she is because why the fuck would anyone?
It’s a simple thought experiment. Ask the average woman the following question: if you had to choose between “making your living by getting fucked in the ass on camera” or “lying about sexual assault to get a big payday”, which would you choose?
I’m betting most women would choose to lie about rape rather than be a pornstar. So why wouldn’t we assume that pornstars are more likely to be liars? They’ve already chosen a much worse behavior, as voted on by most women, as their literal profession.
