It's something that made Twitter pointless when I had an account there (under a pseudonym) and I am subject to the same problem on YouTube for most of my replies (again, under a pseudonym). I find shadowbanning to be a form of psychological coercive abuse.
If this is happening to people paying for X Premium, there could potentially be an argument to be made in court for obtaining money by deception. Might be class action lawsuit time with someone who has the money to test it in court.
The only upside to YouTube is that there are at least euphemisms to get around some of the shadowbanning.
A lot of people replace "Jews" with "Chewies", gays/lesbians/faggots with "alphabet soup", and any number of other terms related to politics or DIE/ESG nonsense with something recognisable but yet isn't easily detectable by the AI.
That doesn't work for me, I could write a completely innocuous post and it will still be shadowbanned. I haven't figured out what determines what gets shadowbanned but I have known comments with no banned terms and yet it won't shown up in a private tab.
Ah, I've had that problem on one of my accounts. Basically it's when your comment P-score sinks too low due to inconvenient truths. And you're right, even something as basic as "Hi" or "Cool" would get hidden.
It took about two months before any comment would show up again.
I read one article some time ago that said it takes 48 hours with zero activity on the account before your account is no longer globally shadowbanned. That only worked for one account, but for the other required much longer before it could post again. I let it sit for a couple of months with zero activity and then tried it again making a seemingly benign positive comment and it showed up again when in incognito mode.
I imagine the lower the account P-score the longer it takes before the account is no longer shadowbanned. Sort of like waiting for the social credit score to reset to default.
Check your opsec. Linking accounts, same browser user agent, cookies, all these are datapoints (clues) that you're up to "naughty speech". Technically IP can also be used but that's the nuclear option because even DEI networking goons understand a big network will NAT you.
