How can you argue that George Floyd was the victim of racial profiling without making it evidence that racial profiling works?
George Floyd was a scumbag. But, according to the teller, he didn't know who George was and so profiled him on the twenty (A dodgy looking note) and his manager's say so.
Profiling is human nature and is often right. In the US it is racial profiling that is the focus of the advert and that is what they are trying to bring into the front and centre of discussion.
Of course their teller was white, because they've got their own racist agenda to push while trying to say that racial profiling is wrong - it's all bullshit.
He knew who Floyd was insomuch as he knew he was the guy who just tried to pay with a counterfeit bill. That alone is perfectly valid grounds for calling the cops, you don't have to call it "profiling"?
I'm trying to illustrate that George Floyd being black wasn't his problem. It was that people knew he was a bad guy and took appropriate steps.
The video at the top is trying to suggest that it's the black thing when it isn't.
Sometimes people get profiled wrongly, for whatever reason. To mirror the physical currency being rejected as a means of bringing up racism is a dick move by those who produced it.
