i've seen someone even try to use the "She looks like a child" arguement on twitter..........because female character that doesn't look like an orc is going to be subjected to that.
Its the end point of the "she looks a bit young" discourse that has been propagating in the last few years around anime.
Its why people on the Right who scream "pedo" at everything anime are the perfect useful idiot. Because they are easily swayed to the whims of these types of people and manipulated into doing what they want.
People on the right do this because that's exactly what it is, and rightoids know exactly what they're doing. The "well ackshually" argument isn't going to save them from looking creepy for obsessing over people who are intended to look underage.
Thank god we are combating real problems in society like "looking creepy."
Its absolutely worth devaluing the word Pedo to the point where real living children get hurt more because you cried wolf every time you couldn't think of a good argument.
