This is highly concerning to me. I REALLY wish he or Vivek had stayed in until Haley gave up. As it stands now, with it just being Trump and Haley, I'm afraid that there will be a sudden increase in court pressure to get Trump declared unable to run and the RNC may start saying "Oh, well, Trump's disqualified and everyone else dropped out so I guess Haley is the candidate!"
The fun part about Trump's supporters is if the RNC doesn't pick him most of them will just cease to listen to the RNC, and that will open a conversation about why we are forced to vote for what these unelected "groups" decide are the only two candidates.
Which neither side wants that wake up, and is why the RNC even picked Trump in 2016 to begin with after their own pushed candidates failed.
I think the establishment would be more scared of an independent Trump than a Republican one. Suddenly, MAGA supporters, numbering in the tens of millions would be running around talking about building an independent party.
The Republicans would basically die, and independent populism would be more mainstream now than with Ross Perot.
Yeah exactly. As much as the establishment will do to keep him off the ticket, they will eventually fold as the alternative is much worse for them. Keeping people within the system misbehaving is a lot better option than them escaping entirely.
Maxime Bernier has proven how downright retarded boomers can be when it comes to voting, so I honestly think Trump losing due to not being part of the RNC could be a civil war flashpoint.
