It's a little more complicated than that. Like "culturally conservative" blacks, first generation immigrants tend to vote for gibs and race communism over any traditional values they claim to hold. By the 2nd generation the ones that have made something of themselves do tend to vote conservative, which is what we're seeing with Hispanics right now. The problem is that making something of oneself is highly correlated with IQ, so this effect is limited by the statistical IQ distribution of the immigrant population in question. That's why Hispanics still overwhelmingly vote Democrat despite some positive movement and courting blacks is a fool's errand. Then by the third generation you have the problem of successful parents raising coddled little shits who think the world owes them a living, making Democrat race communism appealing again. We're seeing that with Asians right now.
All that said you're absolutely correct when you say the importing "traditional" minorities isn't the solution. The GOP has been fantasizing about flipping Hispanics since at least Bush 43, and like I said successful Asian parents are raising coddled little shits that turn into antifags.

That's not the case, or even close to it. For voluntary migration, first generation migrants are the most anti-immigrant. Even among 1st generation mass migrants, they tend to lean towards restricting migration.
