I'm noticing a trend where Desantis supporters think they're smarter than everyone else....almost like dems do

The dude sounds like, and has the mannerisms of, a whiny middle manager.
Whatever political acumen he may have is eclipsed by his negative charisma.
I love him as gov of florida and I hope he goes into the senate or just accepts his place as florida kingmaker running foundations and commissions that keep florida blazing red after he is termed out of the governership.
Bill Clinton in 1988 was so obnoxious that people started applauding when he said 'in conclusion' to finish his speech. Four years later, he was revealed (whether you like him or not) as one of the greatest political talents of the 20th century.
I hope DeSantis can evolve similarly and move out of his boringness. He'd be great in office.
Yeah, it really is amazing how terrible the people after Clinton were. Things had been going downhill for ages, but it's still pretty stark. Not counting Trump, fucking Clinton (pun intended) was probably the best president since his term, or the previous president, Bush Sr. too. Now, to be fair, some of that was actually that the Republican majority actually tried to keep Clinton in check, so he couldn't do everything he wanted, which led to relative peace and stability, but it's still ridiculous. Also, culture plays a big role; the goals were different, so things weren't quite as stupid. Clinton was evil, but compared to Bush Sr., W Bush, Obama, and Biden, he was downright great. That's pretty dang sad.
It was happening before that. GHWB was head of the CIA.
