The names being released aren't the client list. From what I've read, it's "associates," including people like the cleaning lady, and the vast majority of them will be people that are already known. It's going to be a nothing burger.
It's still confusing why someone might appeal to Israel for this (if it's true). What interest would their government have to intervene? Could it be as simple as protecting the reputation of one or some ordinary citizens?

Yeah, victims and, as Gizortnik said, people involved with the case. We aren't going to get anything resembling a ledger of "Bill Gates - 50 cheese pizzas. Bill Clinton - 1000 cheese pizzas. Mitch McConnell - 100 large gay cheese pizzas."
it's ghoulish releasing the victims' names as far as I'm concerned...if they want to come forward on their own, I'm fine with that. That's their own choice...
But to make their names public is just...cruel...
it's further humiliation ritual, not only are they getting away with the crimes, they'll rub it in your face by naming the victims
