We wouldn't call them groomers if we didn't think they were grooming, and grooming is a crime that must have a victim. The issue is though, even the ones who are victimized and aren't the perverts need to detransition. If they don't, it's a strategic decision to continue to label them as freaks and perverts. It counteracts the love bomb tactic the article describes. If they are aware that people will perceive them as freaks, they will be more hesitant to transition.
It's the rate of suicide attempt, not success. And kids and teens read online to threathen to kill themselves if they don't get "gender-affirming care" ASAP.
