Apology accepted. As a told you before, I am not a perfect Christian but I do love you as Christ commands us to show love to people. I was annoyed with your comments earlier, but they are your opinion.
As I've said before, I would love to see everyone link arms and sing about peace and brotherhood, but that is unrealistic. I personally am open to being friends with anyone and I am color blind in the sense that I think people are much more than their skin color. I'm not blind to demographics, but at the individual level I'm willing to give anyone a chance. I'll say it again as well that I'm all about free association and don't think anyone should be forced to be with people they don't want to be with, or be separated from people they do want to be with.
I told yo before how while my family is all republican/right leaning my massive extended family is mostly on the left or further left so while I don't hate being black, I am very annoyed and saddened about things I see like ignoring disproportionate crime rates, constantly harping about slavery/Jim Crow considering the vast majority of people who talk about it never experienced it, or just the glorification of ignorant behavior I've seen with some of my cousins.
I don't like racism, so that includes racism against whites which is the main open racism you see (people openly bashing white people or media downplaying anything bad a minority does). I don't think the solution is quotas or affirmative action because that just fuels the perception that a black person didn't earn the spot (which in my HR experience, I've seen that).
I'm all over the place here, but like I said before there are some on here that flat out don't like blacks or strictly want to associate with other whites. Now I'd love to think I could change their mind but I would be wearing rose colored glasses. It is best to just not engage in any conversations or debates with them. I do enjoy talking about nerdy stuff, and that was the original reason I came here so I try to get back to that.
Thanks. Likewise. My brother and I were talking the other day and he sadly said I can see why whites would become racist against blacks. He said this after we were talking about crime stats and stuff. Like I said I’m willing to be anyone’s friend but not blind to what is going on. I definitely feel there is an anti-white agenda going on as well as efforts to stir up racial hatred. I do try to make a positive difference, but you have to be realistic in some cases. I decided to post more about nerdy stuff because it’s more fun to discuss that
