Those fashion mags aren't for men, it's for women to judge other women whether they are wearing the group think determined "in thing" to then berate and belittle those who can't afford it.
Same thing about having to wear a different dress to a formal occasion. Men don't give a shit about that, a dress is a dress is a dress. If it looks good, that's enough, it doesn't have to be something completely different from the last time, whenever that was, or if it's been ever worn again, men don't fucking care.
Problem is probably "men don't notice enough", especially by modern social media's narcissism drive. A guy saying "nice dress" means he's noticed, but because he didn't sperg out and literally shake at how much the KWEEN can now slay it gets filed under "didn't care".
