I mean, its a terrible excuse when its almost certain that he was just saving the images so he had his own copy of them. Let's not beat around the bush there.
But that's also why these "legitimate" apps will forever be a gamble, if downright worse than just outright piracy. They offer worse service, with retarded "rules" to use them, and then have the nerve to charge you for it. While the scanning and scanlation scene is there providing a service for basically every series you could ever want until the Volumes come out if you want to actually pay for them.
Also, he was reading 100 Kano. They were doing him a favor taking it away from him.
So not fraud, suspected copyright infringement.
Physical books or piracy or bust
Jump Comics (e.g. Shonen Jump)? Even more a reason. Their Japanese tankobon for shonen-level reading are fucking dirt cheap if you go through a vendor. The Jump app is wholly unnecessary. Unless you absolutely need to read the latest chapter, then piracy/scanlations is/are your friend
(I know the Japanese don't have much space to hoard books, but manga books really are cheaper and quite small compared to Western localizations. Second-hand markets exist over there too)
Post Reported for: Rule 6 - NSFW Content
True. Evil, it's best just to NSFW flair all the sankakucomplex articles
It would be much faster to mirror screen with a cable and take screenshots from desktop.
I highly recommend srccpy. Command line tool that copies your screen to your pc and they couldn't detect shit that way. Still ridiculous that it even happened.
So, the thing I do all the time in tachiyomi to collect funny maymays from manga panels would get me banned in their app? Good that I use something open source that doesn't do that shit lmao. Fucking mental.
