I personally don’t mind interracial dating. If a man and woman find love then great. I do have a problem with pushing an agenda and modern media seems to be obsessed with the black man/white woman combo. Also, the most common interracial pair is white and Asian so another case of massive over representation
I don't want to see it predomenintly in media. I am so fed up with seeing it every single time. Cannot be Asian girl and white guy or even more rare Asian guy and black girl. Its always black guy with someone white adjecent.
I was trying to explain to one of the “you are a bigot” types that there is an agenda to vastly over represent certain groups in the west, so don’t act shocked when people are sick of the constant race swaps (now with actual historical figures), lgbt, and interracial relationships because they know it is way out of wack when compared to actual numbers. I used to not mind a gay character here and there unless it was an episode bashing the church but now I’m like my parents and stop watching. Same with race swaps now. I mainly watch stuff from early 00’s and prior now
Honestly? There's just so much stuff out you can keep watching from the 00s and prior for a long, long time. Thankfully anime's still fun to watch so there's even that.
