Trump never even had a first term. The deep state sabotaged him from start to finish. They tied his hands early with bogus Russia-gate and uniparty shenanigans in the “republican” controlled congress. The military openly defied his direct orders on several occasions. Then they all fucked the tail-end of his presidency with the plandemic + J6 entrapment. More than any other president in history, Trump revealed to us precisely how much “democracy” matters in this country: hardly at all.
I don't think its an unpopular opinion to say he was a disappointment in a lot of ways and failed to live up to a lot of hopes he stirred.
The problem is most people don't articulate that and just scream "HE WAS A FUCKING SELLOUT SIMP JEWLOVER" and then act like everyone who doesn't nod along is a sycophant.
I was pretty disappointed at his presidency overall
Compared to what? Something in reality or just your ideal that will never exist anywhere ever?
Seriously: compared to what? Because if it's the latter, I don't care. At all. Come join us in the real world, please.
Also:
I'm a bit weary of Trump
I don't know what you mean here: I assume you actually mean wary but unfortunately common parlance has confused "weary" and "wary" and they mean entirely different things. Weary is "tired of" and wary is "apprehensive of". But your use of "weary" in this context sounds like a lack of trust, not that you're just tired of hearing about him -- though those aren't necessarily mutually exclusive.
This is why I'm a bit weary of Trump as well and I know that isn't a popular opinion but I was pretty disappointed at his presidency overall.

Surrounding himself with people like kushner didn't help
Democracy is a euphemism for control by the media. And we all know...
