They act like this is happening in a vacuum and can’t possibly accept that people will be annoyed after the 10000 race/gender swap. It really makes me sad that Bridgerton was such a hit. I know they defend it by saying it’s fantasy or alternate reality but the original books aren’t like that and they clearly did it for agenda.
Anyway I hope people know where to find actual books on the history of Europe or actual good documentaries. I really wish someone would take the ancient alien theory and make a sci-fi where aliens alter the dna of humans in deep Africa but all the Africans are white. Then i can say “you can believe aliens altering dna…..”
HG in WH13 was also an actually interesting character, and the storyline with her and Myka leading up to their final confrontation was amazing. The more modern ones don't put nearly that much effort into their genderswapped characters and couldn't dream of making them flawed enough to be the villain and actually deserve being put away.
Yea I didn’t mind the storyline at all. Although has it been done today I would’ve rolled my eyes due to how much we have seen that done badly. They wouldn’t make her evil at all
