It said everyone you would expect. That conservatives are “melting down” or the “you can accept a time traveling time lord but not a black Isaac newton”, and of course the “they are the real snowflakes”.
They act like this is happening in a vacuum and can’t possibly accept that people will be annoyed after the 10000 race/gender swap. It really makes me sad that Bridgerton was such a hit. I know they defend it by saying it’s fantasy or alternate reality but the original books aren’t like that and they clearly did it for agenda.
Anyway I hope people know where to find actual books on the history of Europe or actual good documentaries. I really wish someone would take the ancient alien theory and make a sci-fi where aliens alter the dna of humans in deep Africa but all the Africans are white. Then i can say “you can believe aliens altering dna…..”
I like all the traditional manly stuff but I enjoy historical romance or romance novels as well. I guess I’m saying that if you did an alternate universe story with a black Isaac Newton in the 90s I most likely wouldn’t have batted an eye but when they are so obsessed with race/gender swapping or making 1700s England look as multicultural as modern day Los Angeles you can’t help but wonder what their agenda is.
I’m just saying the race swapped a historical figure for some woke reason
Revisionist history is obnoxious. But, England did do away with slaves before America. It like people that never learned more than the headlines are in charge. Newton was the last of the alchemy Scientists. They mess too much up changing his past.
Yes they did and worked very hard to end slavery but the hold outs weee the African rulers. You could write some interesting alternate history like what if America had ended slavery at the founding or in honor of the black spy James Lafayette Washington granted him a cabinet position. Granted I’d be wary of any modern day writers attempting it.
The current t history books are a disaster.
Yea. I’m scared to even look. I check the years now on any history book
