at least the moral panic of the 2000's were by people with standards. Meanwhile these people are the worst degenerates in real life whilst trying to police fiction like this

No, it's an opinion. What's stupid is that you're so hung up on the single point that he doesn't specifically hate both groups as much as you want him to, yet he does hate both.

While there surely were a lot of Karens back then too. At least I can some what relate what christians feared. People without a moral codex or purpose in life and apparently a lot of people have found the new woke religion as a substitute where you dont need to have morals, accountability or be true to your word. You or your team will just bully/cancel everyone who isnt fully on board with that religion, and just virtue signal to get power.
