No, it's an opinion. What's stupid is that you're so hung up on the single point that he doesn't specifically hate both groups as much as you want him to, yet he does hate both.

While technically true, it's not stupid just because you don't like it. There's nothing wrong with liking or hating one group to a greater extent than the other for whatever reason. That doesn't preclude hating both sides. I think DoctorRandomercam coined the term Zebra-crossing fallacy for just this kind of moment.
EDIT: if you do watch the video link, not subtly calling you a cunt- Stephen Colbert, however... I'd say the whole video is worth a watch, though- Your Mileage May Vary.
That's certainly a contributing factor, but the main reason is that the pussies are in control. They are on the dev teams, managing the social media and manufacturing consensus through the corporate press.
Those people were outnumbered, pressured, brainwashed or replaced by lunatics.
