Shit the US government has gone over there to plead the civilians' case. I would say it's the opposite of being ignored. What the world is unable to do though is punish Israel. It's not that uncommon that a genocide is carried out, and it's beyond the reach of enforcement. Nobody is able to challenge China over anything they do. The only thing kind of weird about Israel is they're kind of a first world country but not even.
