We could obviously never do that because the US would have to prop up Israel before they get consequently destroyed by Russia, which would lead to World War III. Why prop up Israel? Because we have more Jews over here than over there.

Don't get me wrong, I think Israel is the least bad of the two, and hamas are a bunch of terrorists, but I don't want us blowing money on their fight either.
The solution is to (not literally, but figuratively) wall off the middle east and let them sort it out. If Israel nukes everyone over there, so be it.
