Neither criticizing Israel, nor making it illegal to boycott Israel is actually illegal in either case, in any state. As it says literally in the very picture here.
The BDS movement is a political movement by Hamas, the PLO, and Hezbollah and has been for many years; and like always: most Progressives are taking their marching orders from one bad faith actor or another. Hence, why the states are passing laws preventing the participation of state funds to support the BDS movement.
For your real life, you may, at any time, refuse to buy anything made in Israel. You may also criticize the state of Israel at any time.
This was not the case for Health Insurance, up until a few years ago when SCOTUS correctly ruled that the Health Insurance requirement under Obamacare was effectively a tax on the general population due to it's coercion, which it was. Hence why it was repelled.
Thus, you are allowed to both not buy something from Israel, and not buy health insurance.
"The Libertarian Case for the State Disallowing Boycotts"
You're still allowed to boycott Israel. Again. You always were.
Should they be getting government funding is the question. And the answer is no. Also, we should continue to government funding as well.
But you must believe in some government or else you are a full on anarchist retard. You're therefore still making "The Libertarian Case for the State Disallowing Boycotts."
Sure for the military to repel boarders.
The state's not disallowing boycotts. The state's just not funding companies that are participating in them. The state isn't required to give people money.
