I would also like to know why they're spending millions of dollars investigating women's health when women already live four years longer than men on average in Canada.
Pretty much the entirety of that lifespan disparity is men taking on harder jobs, more dangerous jobs, more stressful jobs, or more soul-crushing jobs. There, I did ten million dollars worth of life research.
That is most of the reason, yes. I'm pretty sure part of it is also because of the funding gap between research into men's health issues as opposed to women's, and the disparity between the care that's available, or even the extent to which people give a shit. For example, breast cancer research receives 10x the funding in Canada that prostate cancer research does, despite the fact that prostate cancer kills more men than breast cancer kills women.
There's also the fact that men are fucked for any chromosomal sex-linked disease, considering they only have a single copy of the X chromosome and the Y chromosome is vestigial.

Is he assuming their genders?? Looks like a bunch of beautiful black lesbians to me!
Also FYI the National Post is a "conservative" newspaper in Canada.

Oh my god what, Rachel? You're fully onboard the "trans women are women" train.
Noticing things is against the rules.
