The earliest I would pin it starting was at the turn of the century (19th into 20th century), when Feminism and Marxism/Communism came into existence. Things can take a long time to take shape, it happened over the course of nearly 2 lifetimes
It goes back much further than that. Watch The Andy Griffith Show and you'll see they were already paving the way for what we're seeing today.
It wasn't as intense back then but one of the first episodes is about a woman running for city council and proving all the sexist men wrong.
