It's redundant. On the political spectrum Anarchism is the farthest right, to the right of Libertarianism, Communism the farthest left. I've always understood the method of ranking to be from most state control on the left to least state control on the right.
Sounds like a new way to disparage Libertarianism, since "far-right" is being used in the press to connote something like "Nazi."
Nazism is, of course, on the left of the political spectrum, as much as the left likes to deny it..
That's certainly one paradigm, but there are multiple schools of thought on political spectrums. It says something about the integrity of journalists that they always make these statements without ever defining terms, allowing some readers confirm their own biases and leaving the rest of us to guess.
What did they mean by this?🤔
He likes freedom. Freedom is far right.
I still love that NYT article where, and I quote, "Shouting “Freedom” and other anti-government slogans, hundreds of Cubans took to the streets"
Seriously, appreciating liberty or not trusting the government is, according to the tyrants, far right. Thus, "far right libertarian."
It's a cue to tell the normies what opinions they need to pretend to have.
I was just going to say. What the fuck are they even thinking?

The political spectrum as a concept is a tool of thought control. We should just reject it wholesale.
I agree.
