I made it twelve seconds in. This bitch is insufferable. I think I've seen her stuff linked here once or twice before. Pain.
Is this the My Hero bitch? Very similar style, if not?
Also, one of the comments dared to defend My Dress Up Darling, and I liked one of the replies:
Yes but still, reading the manga and going deeply into the story, you see she'll eventually became a simp for Gojo. In that moment all of the character's dept become: "omg I cannot stop thinking about Gojo I love him" and bye bye to all of her characterization. Sad
I have two comments on this. Firstly, this is what a lot of women want. "omg I'm obsessed and deeply in love" is often an aspiration. Secondly, and perhaps more interestingly...I love the mask off moment. "A woman...liking a man? That's not feminist!"
Reminds me of, and I wish I remembered the context, some hellhole being called a feminist utopia, and feminists defending themselves by saying men weren't oppressed enough for it to be feminist. I guess they forgot the propaganda that feminism is for men, too! Hahaha, "this isn't true feminism, because there are still men who haven't been either murdered or enslaved." Nah, fuck off.
That seems to be the goal with anime, too: "Men are still enjoying anime, therefore it's still problematic."
Let's not forget that Marin from Dress Up Darling is a literal self insert for the author, and half her motivation behind the series is to justify going out and learn about fashion, makeup and cosplay that she is terrible at but wants to come across as researched when writing.
So that "woman liking a man" is literally a female author drawing her own fantasy story.
Which becomes obvious after the first dozen or so chapters when the POV switches from him to her. Because instead of a nervous anxiety ridden wreck, you have a giant man with gianter hands (that he is super good with) that is super into her hobbies and is incredibly gentle when handling her while also being loyal to a fault to her above anyone else. This is all while having an incredibly skilled and impressive career on the side despite being in high school.
Gojo is just a straight up Gary Stu character meant for girls to jerk off to. All his flaws are there to make him seem "attainable" and "cuter" instead of ever actually holding him back.
