I think the part that grosses me out about Hamas (and note, I'm not advocating that we send military aid to Israel) is that Hamas celebrates the death and torture of civilians. They take pride in it. Israel at least pays lip service to not wanting the death of innocents, and by their actions seem to have shown that they're sincere in this desire.

Yes, both sides are awful. I was just pointing out that Hamas, in this one section is particularly awful.

Both sides are NOT awful. There is no false equivalence here. Hamas and the Palestinians are unequivocally in the wrong. Saying both sides are bad is just the safe thing to say on this board because there are so many Jew-haters here.
