Want to know another truth for another topic? Rape only has nasty psychological impacts because we as a society tell women they should have nasty psychological impacts from it. A lot of women don't even know they've been raped until they're told by society that their "experience" was indeed rape. Then they have a meltdown. Until the women are told they're supposed to have a meltdown, most don't. If we stopped promoting a victim culture around rape the psychological impacts to women from "rape" would be significantly less. Women only play up being the victim because they gain advantage in society by doing so. Remove that advantage and women will get over the rape and move on.
Note, I'm not talking about violent rape where the woman is barely alive afterward. I'm talking about the guy was pushy at the frat party kind of rape.
It's even true for basic sexual harassment. Less than a hundred years ago if you slapped a woman on the ass she'd either slap you in the face or wink at you, depending on if she thought you were in her league or not. That would be the end of it. After decades of conditioning everyone to feel bad about what happened, we've now created microaggressions where women have to take days off work because their male coworker looked at them in the wrong way.
A guy being pushy at a frat party is not rape. Just don't let leftist idiots dictate the meaning of words. I know they like doing it, but they're still wrong abut it. Just don't entertain their ideas.

This is correct. If we stopped making it a big deal, it would stop being one.
