They did lose one that you can find not scrubbed from the internet. Way back in 2000 in Colorado.
Wherein a Jewish couple thought their neighbors dog fighting with their dog was an antisemitic conspiracy against them, so they used a police scanner to listen to their phone conversations. When they heard a Jew joke, they took it as a threat and got the ADL involved. They got over 10 million at the end of it from the ADL alone. Though given how absurd that story was it was probably easy to win.
But Musk claims to have actual evidence of them outright interfering with his business and costing him outright money, which is something most people fail to have in defamation suits.
Hasn't the ADL already beaten defamation lawsuits in the past? Is there a point?

So did Vic Mignogna, and he lost.
Vic's loss can almost be squarely laid on the feet of Ty Beard and his incompetence.
Like, he still might have lost otherwise. But Beard almost made certain of it.
Not really, though. He lost because he was deemed a public person. Wasn't he?
Musk's attorneys really need to study the Vic case, and figure out exactly how much he needs to pay the judge to avoid the same outcome.
