She should get death penalty, the only grace is she's too weak to do it herself as it's very easy to kill a child which is why that crime is seen as the most egregious that other prisoners will try to kill you if they find out.
Florida has sunshine laws that mean any charges filed are immediately open to the press for publication. Crazy shit like this goes on everywhere: We just hear about it when it happens in Florida because it's so easy for the media to get hold of the information.
