And they made Fish a mod LOL. Almost always shit takes, in the negative, but somehow he's someone who knows what should and shouldn't be on Gaming.
Deliberately crashing a community into the ground because they're afraid of no-no speak.
He was a mod for less than a day it seems. The community thinks he was put there out of spite by the head mod
Ha, I unsubscribed and removed it from my omnibar after I saw that at never went back. Maybe a little too rash but my patience for chicanery has gotten pretty low.
He's gone already which is really fast turnaround
He definitely was. CSO was the original moderator and after getting criticised for constant targetting of some topics but not others, he threw a tantrum and ended up making one of the most hated users across this site a mod. Basically a "fuck this, I'm burning the house down on the way out because I can't have my way!".
Top tier childish behaviour. But then again, jannies gonna janny.
Cis admitted that's what he did in the pinned comment in c/gaming, that he made FishyMan420 a mod to spite the users and forum, even though he knew Fish is hated by everyone, and then Cis stepped down. However, after Fishy was removed as a mod yesterday due to overwhelming backlash, C (the site wide admin) recently deleted that pinned message.
Huh, I take a break from Gaming for a few months and this happens.
It sounds like there's been a lot more drama going on there than what this screenshot alludes too.
The basic rundown of what happened:
It all happened over the last week. Hexen made a post pointing out the Holocaust museum map added to Fortnite. Lots of comments were pointing out that the Holocaust was fake. They ended up being censored by CisSiberianOrchestra, and then the entire post was censored. I messaged Hexen to let him know what happened. Hexen then started pushing Cis's buttons by making fun of the bullshit "no racism" rule, and those posts were censored. Hexen then made another legitimate gaming post, with no racism in it, and that was censored.
Then there was a meta post where people were talking about what was going on in the forum, and rightfully criticized what Cis was doing. Cis claimed he censored the comments and posts because it was "brigading", which doesn't make sense. Cis threw a tantrum, modded Fishyman420, the most hated user there, pinned a message to the forum admitting that he did it just to spite the forum and the users, and then stepped down as a mod. If all the censored stuff was due to brigading, Cis wouldn't have punished the entire community, unless he hated the community.
People quickly got wind that Fishy was now a mod, people rapidly declared the forum was dead, started unsubbing from the forum, and criticized Fishy's hypocrisy and poisonous behavior in further meta threads about the situation. Fishy claimed he would be a magnanimous hyper efficient mod, being fair (except to the evil racists and Nazis), and that he didn't need any mod help (he didn't want to mod anyone else and take away from his power trip), and then he began censoring stuff. To his credit, he did approve certain posts and comments, but the dude is a known liar and hypocrite.
The entire community knew the "no racism" rule and what Cis censored was bullshit. C/gaming is pretty genuine. I never see brigading there. Pretty much all the users there want the "no racism" rule removed entirely or severely neutered.
In any case, I'm pretty sure C (the site wide admin) removed Fishy as mod, deleted Cis's pinned "fuck you" message, and now the forum is having an open discussion about who should become mod(s), and what the rules are going to be.
The funny part is that CisSiberianOrchestra, the mod who sperged out, claimed they censored comments and posts because it was all "brigading" by us evil fascists. However, because Cis was getting so much justified backlash, from the gaming community itself, as a final "fuck you" to the forum and its users, he made FishyMan420 a mod, the most annoying and hated user in that community (and elsewhere).
If all of this was being caused by brigading, then why would Cis punish the "genuine" users by modding the most hated user? It doesn't make sense. So either Cis was lying when it was brigading, or he was lying when he said he could genuinely moderate a gaming forum (this is implicit and doesn't need to be said), which means he hates gaming and gamers.
It's also possible that Cis was lying about both, which makes even more sense in lieu of his actions. You don't censor people you like and agree with, and you don't sperg out like he did if you like the people and forum you're a part of. We've all seen countless examples of globalist infiltrators and useful idiots admitting, explicitly or implicitly, that they hate the very spheres they infiltrate and the people in them. This hatred always comes out when the users say anything contrarian to the current message. The farther a comment, post, or discussion is away from the current message, the more vociferous and obvious the hatred shines through. The most extreme hatred comes with the discussion of the 3 most verboten topics: race realism, jews, and accurate WW2 history. That's why these 3 topics are the greatest challenge and indicator to anyone or anything claiming to be for free speech.
