Up until St Floyd a normal White person could like black entertainers, media, and culture because they weren't proudly and openly anti-White. Sure there was liberal messaging but it wasn't the whole product.
Jeffersons and Good Times and Sanford and Son reruns were my favorite shows growing up. I was still a kid and indoctrinated but even then I saw they gave it to both sides, slightly more meanspirited toward the Whites and more "encouraging" toward the blacks but the jokes were first, the lesson a VERY distant 2nd.
Now it is all CRT all the time, and a clear distinction between the "good guys" who support White extinction and the "bad" who don't.
My rule of thumb (I know I’ve mentioned this before so apologies if you’ve seen it already) is that I don’t watch anything made after 2014 unless someone I trust recommends it. Definitely true for anything with a black lead or cast. I will still watch reruns of Jeffersons, Sanford and Son, Family Matters, etc. Heck, most of what I watch is old tv shows and one of my favorite shows as I’ve gotten older is Leave it to Beaver.
I made that point in my earlier post because I’ve seen young white and black leftists stupidly say “white people wont watch something with a black lead”. I remember I pointed out to one guy that Cosby Show was one of if not the most popular shows of the 80s and that wouldn’t have been possible without a lot of white fans. He just said they weren’t really black.
Sadly I don’t blame someone who sees a modern day black show or film and passes. I’m the same way unless someone recommends it. I’m the same way with a female led show or movie. But 2014 and prior I’ll check it out
