It never did, because it wasn't true, and that's why the Holocaust Museum had to call it out in the first place.

More like, "Oy vey, if people keep making shit up, the people who pretend it didn't happen and want to do it again, will keep trying to white wash history, and justify doing it twice, since 'a real genocide has never been tried'."
Not sticking to reality is a mockery of the victims, an insult to the survivors, and a threat to their posterity.
