Toronto Pflag and the board’s 2SLGBTQ+ Community Advisory Committee have been advocating unsuccessfully for weeks since the issue over attendance and consent arose at a Pride celebration at Bruce Public School in early June. They say the opt-out violates the Ontario Human Rights Code and are calling for an apology for the harm caused by the decision. The board, they add, has not been particularly responsive.
I maintain my stance that Canada is the cucked Western country on the planet
The fact they are trying FORCE this on children than all ANY differing stance shows how pathetic these authoritarian are. I hope to god there are ISLAMIC kids attending and they do this so we can see their rebuttal to no opt outs...
It should be noted that this doesn't apply to the entirety of our country. Ontario is a mix of your california/montana depending on where you look (as it has our 2 biggest cities, yet also has a rural side that's about 80% the size of texas). Take what happens there with a bit of a grain of salt.

"You have the human right to be forced to do X!" - Comrade Derpy
Ummmmm, no. And you don't have the human right to force people to attend your freakshow, or even a non-freak show

Spare me the silent majority talk.
2 biggest cities..?
Not yet!
Montreal is still the second city, surely??
Isn’t Mississauga pretty big too, though?
But yeah, my impression was that it goes Toronto > Montreal >>>> everywhere else, lol…
Montreal was, of course, bigger until the 1970s, though. By some margin. Until they switched. Much like Melbourne and Sydney in Aus, really…
